KYC on Binance: repeat checks, failed verification, SoF after DeFi

We review a failed KYC, a second identity check, and origin requests after a Uniswap deposit. The file set follows the notice.

What to know

Limits of Binance support

  • Binance decides whether to lift the restriction — that cannot be guaranteed in advance.

  • We do not forge documents or offer a KYC or AML bypass.

  • If there is no realistic path, we say so after the initial assessment.

For the assessment

What we need to assess a Binance KYC request

UID, the notice text, and a list of files already uploaded are enough. Do not send seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or 2FA codes.

Core materials

  • Binance UID and the exact KYC or restriction wording

  • Verification-screen and compliance-email screenshots

  • If the deposit came from DeFi: the DEX withdrawal TxID and the address that funded Binance

  • Source of Funds files Binance has already requested

  • A timeline: when KYC passed, when the new request appeared, what was sent

Process

How we prepare a Binance KYC submission

01

Initial assessment

We separate a KYC rejection from SoF after DeFi and from a P2P hold, using the request that is open now.

02

Case analysis

We compare the Uniswap → wallet → Binance path with the amounts in the account and with what Binance already flagged.

03

Submission package

One complete set for the current KYC or SoF request, without extra tickets “just in case”.

04

Follow-up

We help answer compliance clarifications and keep the correspondence in one ticket.

Timing

How long Binance takes

Timing is set by Binance’s queue and the completeness of the file set. One anonymized case took about 40 hours — that is not a promise.

Case

Binance: SoF after a Uniswap deposit

Binance$280,000about 40 hours

After a Uniswap V3 withdrawal Binance restricted about $280,000. We built an on-chain origin tree and a compliance package for the exchange request.

Access was restored after the documents were reviewed. The same timeline is not promised.

Anonymized DefCrypt case. The outcome depends on the facts and on the exchange’s decision.

Pricing

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Binance KYC

Why did Binance ask for KYC again?

A second check can follow a new device, failed liveness, an expired ID, or a deposit that does not match the risk profile. Use the wording in the account, not chat-group advice.

Does a Uniswap deposit automatically trigger AML?

No. Each exchange scores risk differently. In the published case the hold was lifted after an origin map, but Binance decides — not the mere fact that a DEX was involved.

What does Binance usually want for Source of Funds?

How the amounts connect: where the asset came from, which addresses it passed, and how income is shown. For DeFi that often means a TxID and a pool explanation, not only a selfie.

Can you guarantee that KYC will pass?

No. We prepare facts and a complete file set. The outcome cannot be guaranteed: Binance decides.

Is there a write-up of a similar case?

Yes — an anonymized matter of about $280,000 after Uniswap is published separately. It is not a template or a timeline promise.
