01Acceptance of the Terms
By using the DefCrypt website, submitting the assessment form, or contacting us through the listed channels, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit an inquiry. The services are intended for people aged 18 and over.
02What the website provides
The website describes DefCrypt's areas of work: resolving exchange account restrictions, recovering access to wallets, blockchain analytics, legal document preparation, and emergency response.
The website materials are for informational purposes. Publishing a page does not itself create a contract for services or require us to accept your matter.
Work on a matter begins after the scope, terms, and payment, where applicable, are agreed separately, usually through a contract or written confirmation in an agreed channel.
The initial assessment helps determine whether there is a meaningful path forward, which type of work is most relevant, and what information is needed for the next step.
The assessment is not a guarantee that we will accept the matter, a fixed work plan, a legal opinion, or a promise of an outcome. We may decline without a detailed explanation if the matter is outside our expertise, is risky, or lacks sufficient information.
04No guarantee of an outcome
We do not guarantee the recovery of assets, the lifting of account restrictions, restored access, any timeline, or a specific outcome. The result depends on the exchange, the evidence, the jurisdiction, the actions of third parties, and the details of your matter.
Past cases published on the website describe individual outcomes from our work and do not promise the same result in a new matter. Before review, we do not specify the outcome or an exact timeline.
Do not send the following through the website, assessment form, or public channels:
- seed phrases or recovery phrases;
- private keys;
- wallet or exchange passwords;
- 2FA codes or secrets;
- any other data that gives direct control over assets.
The DefCrypt website and services must not be used to:
- recover or conceal unlawfully obtained assets;
- circumvent lawful exchange restrictions, court decisions, or regulatory restrictions;
- obtain information about another person's wallets or transactions without a lawful basis;
- harass, surveil, or harm third parties;
- submit information about a matter that you know is false.
The price and payment model depend on the type of work and are agreed before paid work begins. Eligible matters may use a success-fee model, usually 5–15%.
Details of the model, eligibility criteria, and exclusions are provided on the Success Fee page. Advance and diagnostic payments, if agreed, are governed by the contract.
The website's text, structure, visual materials, and descriptions of methodology belong to DefCrypt or rights holders who have granted permission. You may share links; copying substantial portions without attributing the source is not permitted.
Reports, analytical materials, and document packages prepared for your matter are provided on the terms of the contract. Until the agreed work has been paid for in full, we may withhold the final materials.
09Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DefCrypt is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, market movements, the actions of exchanges, courts, or law-enforcement authorities, or losses resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information that you provided.
If liability nevertheless arises, it is limited to the amount of fees you actually paid for the relevant matter, unless mandatory provisions of law or a separate contract require otherwise.
We may update these Terms. The current version is always available on this page, and the update date appears at the beginning. Continuing to use the website or requesting an assessment after a material update constitutes acceptance of the new version, unless the law requires a different procedure.
For questions about these Terms, contact DefCrypt on Telegram or briefly describe your request through the assessment form on the homepage.
12Applicable law and disputes
The public-facing party to these Terms is the DefCrypt brand, using the contact channels listed on the website. Full legal details are not published in this version of the website.
We seek to resolve disagreements through discussion in an agreed channel. The specific jurisdiction, dispute-resolution procedure, and applicable law for paid work are set out in the contract.
