Service · Legal support

Legal support for cryptoasset documents and disputes

We prepare statements, evidence, and documents for exchanges and law-enforcement authorities. During the initial assessment, we identify possible next steps.

Limitations

What to know before work begins

  • DefCrypt prepares documents but does not replace a lawyer. Representation is arranged separately.

  • Whether proceedings begin or assets are returned depends on decisions by an exchange, court, or law-enforcement authority.

  • The work requires facts, a chronology, and transaction data.

Evidence

Document preparation and representation

An initial assessment requires the facts, a chronology, and TxIDs or addresses. The document set depends on the situation, exchange requirements, and selected submission route.

  • A statement or submission, chronology of events, and description of the loss

  • TxIDs, addresses, and transfer confirmations

  • A crypto transaction analysis report, when needed

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about legal support

When is legal support needed for a cryptoasset matter?

When statements, evidence, or documents are needed for an exchange, court, or law-enforcement authority. We first assess the facts and possible next steps.

When should I contact the police?

Not in every case. The evidence and appropriate recipient should be reviewed first. Transaction analysis or an additional document package may be needed before filing.

Does DefCrypt replace a lawyer?

No. We prepare documents and support their submission. Representation is available only under a separate agreement with a qualified lawyer.

Do you guarantee cryptocurrency recovery?

No. The exchange, court, or law-enforcement authority makes the decision. We are responsible for the quality of the documents, but not for actions taken by third parties.

Is blockchain analysis always required first?

No. Analysis is needed when fund movements or links between addresses must be documented as transaction evidence.
